The inclusion of Michael Cole is almost worse than the exclusion of Jim Ross in my book. It's not even a Cole-hate thing, it just sounds so forced if that makes sense.

The main problem with Sheamus being there is how early he comes in: right after WWF Shawn Michaels and before Stone Cold. The whole thing's supposed to have a from-the-past-to-now vibe, so Sheamus there is a head-scratcher for sure.

Right after Austin is the Miz and Evan Bourne too, and while they're hot topics now and may have very bright futures ahead of them it feels way too early for both.

The whole thing's just... wrong. I missed it last night because I turned on Raw a few minutes late, and I have a feeling it's really gonna disappoint me seeing that on television tonight.

I'm interested to know how you think it advanced the storyline, because to me it just didn't make any sense.

Williams and Kendrick are having an Ultimate-X match at Victory Road, and unless they've changed the rules recently that means no ladders are allowed. So what exactly is Doug Williams supposed to be proving by having a ladder match?

Additionally I think that having him lose that match just made him look weak going into the PPV, which might not have been a problem if he'd lost because Kendrick had interfered, but he lost clean! I just don't see what was gained by that.

More often that not they were a bad idea then too.
