When I was a child, everybody stared at me. Pointed. They screamed and they laughed and I hated them for it. I hated the world, but, I hated myself. I hated what I was. So, I tried to hide it with a mask. That way, I wouldn't hear your screams or your laughter, or feel your pity. But, you see, we all wear masks... just some aren't as obvious as the one I wore.

Hey! If this is your first time visiting, welcome to Wrestlechan! We're a *chan-style imageboard for discussing anything wrestling-related, be it shows that are airing, old events, "insider" news or just general silliness.
You can see our boards on the frame to the left. We have a main section for general discussion, along with a section for media such as entrance themes, and an "e-fed" board for user-interactive storylines generally based on video games.
If you have any questions about the site itself or its users, feel free to stop in our Userbase Discussion board and ask. We also have "The Palace of Wisdom" as an area where anything goes, wrestling related or not. We also have /fap/, because... hey, we're all human.
The administrators here are Sham, the owner, along with Punker Than You and myself. All of us can be found in the Userbase area, or on IRC at irc.Rizon.net, channel #wrestling. Feel free to come to any of us with anything.
Hopefully you'll enjoy your stay here, and we'll welcome you with open arms.

Funny how some things have perfect timing, y'know?
Well, not only are we entering 2010 (new year AND a new decade!), it's also been five months since the original board was born in the first place. We've had some crazy turns, shared laughs and tears, nerdrage and pure elation. And as one of the admins, all I wish to say (I'm sure the rest of the staff feels the same), is thank you.
Thank you for coming here and posting what comes to your mind, be it wrestling-related or not. Thank you for taking part in community activities, and actively speaking on how you feel we as a unit can continue to grow. Most importantly, thank you for letting us help in leading the way.
Happy New Year, guys. Let's make this decade ours, shall we?

As some of you will be aware, we now have an advertisting plan of sorts. If you have found your way here from our Justin.Tv stream, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you, and give you some information regarding Wrestlechan.org, what we are about, and how to use the site.
A lot of people won't be familiar with Imageboards, and some of you will likley have used 4chan, or similar sites. If you need help, please feel free to start a thread in "/userbase/" - which can be found in the "[other]" section on the board list. Please read the FAQ if you haven't used an imageboard before.
THE BOARDS
/nWo/ - Wrestling Discussion: Our main board to be used for Wrestling Discussion. All promotions are allowed on here from the WWE to Your local Indy fed.
/wis/ - The Palace of Wisdom: Our off topic board. Post about anything you like.
/fap/: This board is for pictures of Divas and other women from the wrestlng business. All pics are fair game, this part of the site is loaded with the juicy Diva pics you'll be looking all over the internet for. We have them all in one place.
/userbase/ - This page is for interacting with the Admins/Mods and talking about issues regarding the site as a whole. Feel free to post any questions or ideas you have about Wrestlechan here.
/WCTV/ - Our video board. We have an expanding wrestling video library for you to watch, and we have some live PPV streams coming up too.
/med/ - Media. This board contains links to hundreds of matches for you to download, and is full of music files too, from Mixtapes to wrestling themes.
/efed/ - For the Wrestlechan eFed 'WCCW'. You can be a part of it to by posting your details in the sign up thread.

Streams - Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 26 by Sham - 13/12/09 @ 18:06PM
One of our users has kindly offered to stream the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 26 for us on our Wrestlechan TV channel using his new capture card. We plan on Password protecting the channel and the board it'll be shown on to keep certain parties from watching. The stream will also be limited to 50 viewers at once. We shall be allocating space in the stream for the most active users in IRC and on the board. Simple really, contribute to our boards, get a place in the stream. You WILL need to be in IRC to recieve the passwords to the stream. There will also be obscene amounts of internet detective-ry on my part to make doubly sure that the people who get the passwords aren't people on a covert operation from any other wrestling forums or imageboards.
And I'll have a go at streaming the Elimination Chamber PPV in February.

Hey all, we are currently expimenting with our own wrestling on demand video service that will be exclusive to Wrestlechan. Right now it's just a couple of matches and promos to choose from, but soon we hope to have a decent sized wrestling library to keep you entertained, and our own PPV streams we can keep password protected to keep the feds from shutting it down.
So if you can stream wrestling (live or from files on your hard drive), and/or if you can upload large files FAST then come and find me either on Wrestlechan IRC - #wrestlechan on irc.helldive.org - or post on http:www.wrestlechan.org/WCTV/

Everything is pretty much back to normal now. Just some minor cosmetic tweaks and nobody will be any the wiser.
