I'm about to start advertising the fuck out of WC all over the internet. Random wrestling forums like wrestlecrap and BX, maybe even WZ... justin.tv

Basically anywhere besides 4chan and WWE Universe. First thing's first though. I need PSDs of Jericho and HBK to make a signature advertising Wrestlechan and a catchy tag line the represents what WC is all about. Freedom to say what you want. Of course, with guys coming here I think rules need to be laid out. People can say what they want as long as there is no trolling, drama, or unnecessary flaming.

So yeah if you want, do the same.

Yeah, we've passed our experimental board phase now and I'm pretty sure it's time to get us some more members and become a proper wrestling community. But this is an experiment in itself, and if you are going to advertise this place, please be strategic about it. Advertise us in the places you think will being us good posters and not shitposters. The more regular users we get, the more interesting shit we can do, like Stickam parties, SvR leagues, have our own streaming stuff embedded on it's own board, Wrestlechan TeeVee sounds pretty neat huh?

Don't think we don't value our userbase as it is. Me, Punker and Smark are grateful for every person who posts on our little board, but we want to get WC it's own hosting and outgrow IB4F soon. And then run loads of ads, and force Wrestlechan T-shirts on you. Then beg for money over Stickam when we don't have enough to pay the server bills..oh..shit..

I say people hit the ECW streams on Justin.tv tonight to promote WC. It should have less WWE Universey types. If we really wanted to boost our members overnight by hundreds, we'd need to find someone who could stream PPV's/RAW/ECW/SD and have their Stream embedded into it's own board using something other than Justin.tv. Ustream or Mogulous or something of the sort.

Still, if anyone can stream stuff, even if it's not a live show let me know either on IRC or on the boards. Is it Mogulous (now called LiveStream) that allows you to have an Ondemand service? I've had an even better idea. I've set up a channel on LiveStream and it looks fuckwin with the OD service. My only problem is that my upload speed is dire, so I can't upload vids very fast. I'm upping Samoa Joe vs Tyler Black at the moment as a test, but it's taking forever.

With Livestream, I can add other users to the channel as "Directors" or some shit who will be able to upload as well with me overseeing the whole operation on the master account. So if you have a decent amount of single matches and wrestling themed things like the Wrestling episodes of It's Always Sunny and South Park and if you have an awesome upload speed get hold of me in IRC or on the boards!

If this test vid goes well i guess we could have WCTV up and running before ECW tonight.

I know you're going for the WCW references but keep in mind the /wooo/ world order is posted around as much as any other /wooo/ banner and is probably their only logo. Stick with two-thirds of the WCW logo and add in a slogan like "Where the big boys post" or something. Or go with something from the lolRusso era.

I just sent a bunch of friendly messages to 20 of the highest ranked fourdown users who aren't members of any leagues, asking them to check out the site and join up with /nWo/ for the prediction game. I figured this would be the best way to find potential quality posters, as they have to be at least somewhat intelligent fans to consistently predict well on the game. That could have the double-effect of getting a few more smart folks like ourselves over onto the site AND possibly even bringing us to number one out of the 4down leagues. We've been only 3 or 4 points behind that pesky /wooo/ World Order a few times now; adding a few new players who're awesome at the game could take us to the top! Hope everyone thinks that was a good idea. I figured it'd at least be better than just randomly advertising to everyone on WrestleZone or something.

What I do is just tell my 'cool' friends "Hey, these guys got some fuckwin music on here", and they'll come for that.

That's one of the biggest reasons that if I had a killswitch for one of these sites, I'd choose /wooo/ over WC. Nothing about godmodders, or egos, or anything like that. We just have a far better media selection.

So I'll talk to my friends and say "Check out [for example] the full version of Sheamus', Ryder's, and Bourne's themes!" and they're all "OMGYAY", and with any luck they'll become regulars and post and shit.

One of the only reasons I go to /wooo/ at all is just to talk to people. You guys are make me so ronery. D:
