I had this and lost it. Sonic/Shadow levels and multiplayer mode were fun as fuck. Tails/Robotnik and Knuckles/Rouge levels were fucking terrible, though.

I had the first Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, went back and played it a couple days ago. I enjoyed it back in the day, but the poor controls/camera really stood out. I vaguely remember playing the 2nd one, but I never actually owned it. This thread is a good excuse to post this wonderful video.

I'm pulling for Sonic 4 this summer to wipe the floor with all of the shitty 3D console Sonics and be the best one since Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

(I will say, though, that the Sonic Advance games for GBA were awesome.)

I had a lot of fun with Sonic Heroes on the Gamecube. I wish I still had that game to give it another play through. From what I understand, the ones released since then have been horrible. I knew someone who had the 06 game and absolutely hated it.

I had a demo for Sonic Heroes, I think on one of those discs that come with PlayStation Magazine, and I remember the one level on it being decently fun.

I said I had Sonic Adventure 2 and liked some of it too. By "shitty" I mostly just mean compared to the Genesis classics.

Then again, when I worked at Game Exchange last year, I was able to take home one of the used games at night any time I wanted, and when I took home the one just named "Sonic the Hedgehog" for 360 I was appalled at just how terrible it was. It was a free rental and I still didn't keep it more than one night.
